This Thursday, InsideOut Fiji is set to unveil their latest EP album, “IO,” on LegendFM and fijivillage. Band leader Apakuki Nalawa, also known as Kuki, shared that “IO” holds significance as it translates to “yes” in iTaukei, reflects the band’s name, and marks their remarkable 10-year journey together.
Originally planned for the following week, the early release aligns with LegendFM’s 21st birthday celebration.
The day-long launch extravaganza includes morning radio interviews on breakfast shows, followed by a song release every two hours on YouTube and streaming platforms starting at 10 am. Alongside the musical debut, the band is unveiling a fresh logo. Kuki assures that their new EP, which they independently produced, showcases versatility with tracks suitable for listeners of all ages.
All six tracks underwent meticulous creation, with the band handling lyrics, instrumentals, and vocal parts, followed by mixing and mastering by Canaan Ene, an award-nominated music producer and filmmaker from New Zealand.
